Horse Barn 5 Stall with Hip Roof 24' x 48' - Building Plan
This is one of the most efficient designs for a smaller barn. Around the front common area are five 12' by 12' stalls and two storage closets. Included in the plans is an optional rear fire escape door through one of the closet areas if local bylaws require it.
The simple design incorporates a standard hip roof with the center bearing wall acting as stall fronts as well. This barn is ideal for a small farm with a few horses or heads of livestock. It will fit in a small area of 24 by 48 feet, including a paddock.
Stall doors are perfect for the home builder and are designed as hinged oak and metal doors without expensive sliders.
Storage closets can be used for tack, or even a well pump and electrical panel.
